What this covers

This policy explains what Topiq (“we”, “us”) collects when you use Topiq to audit and monitor your store's visibility in AI search products, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions any time: use the contact page.

What we collect

Information you give us. The store URL you audit, the email address you enter at intake, an optional brand description, the competitors and regions you configure, and your account details (email, name) if you sign up.

Data about your storefront. To run an audit we read publicly available pages of the store you point us at — product titles, descriptions, prices, images, and structured data. We only access what any visitor to the store can see.

Audit results. The AI-provider answers, scores, findings, and recommendations we generate for your store, plus the questions you ask the audit chat.

Usage data. Standard logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and product analytics events so we can see what works and keep abuse out.

How we use it

To run your audits and monitoring, email you when results are ready or change meaningfully, provide support, process subscription payments, improve the product, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Who processes it for us

We use a small set of service providers to operate Topiq: Neon (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Inngest (background jobs), Cloro (AI-provider answer retrieval), Firecrawl (storefront reading), OpenRouter (report narration and chat), Resend (email), Stripe (payments — we never see your card number), PostHog (analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in sessions and for connecting the audits you ran before signing up to your account, and analytics cookies to understand product usage. We don't run advertising trackers.

Retention & deletion

Audit results are kept so your monitoring history works. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time via the contact page, and we'll complete the deletion within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these — we respond to all verified requests.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
